Field Trips & PBIS

Fischer_072Field Trips:

We believe Great Experiences create citizens and develop leaders. In addition to thorough lessons in the classroom, all students are invited to participate in grade level experiences, or field trips. Some of our favorite field trips:

A small fee is mandatory for these experiences to cover costs for  transportation and admission. Lunch is always provided free of charge. If assistance is needed, please contact the school social worker to see if you are eligible for a payment plan or other support.

We often request parent chaperones on our field trips. If you would like to join us on these experiences, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, data-driven framework to increase school safety, promote a positive climate conducive to learning to improve academic outcomes. PBIS is a system of expectations, rewards, and/or interventions to improve school climate for all students and staff.

Students are rewarded daily for doing the right things. A few of William J. Fischer PBIS activities include Freeze Pop Friday, Dress Down Days, Pizza Parties, Field Trips, and much more!

William J. Fischer has daily, weekly, and monthly incentives for students who choose to follow our school values. Ask your child what he/she has earned!
