Students Celebrate Grandparents
On Friday, October 2nd, Fischer’s cafeteria was filled with the giggles and chatter of excited students who were able to serve breakfast to their grandparents. Every seat was taken as a presentation was given on the respect owed to our elders. The insight and wisdom young family members can gain through the mentorship of someone who has experienced so much is invaluable. While everyone was enjoying their meals, a surprise photo slideshow was presented as a thank you to all the grandparents who give so much, everyday, to ensure their grandchildren are happy and healthy.
“What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies.” – Rudy Giuliani
